The emotional significance of one of the trinkets Sharon Osbourne was seen wearing at her husband Ozzy’s burial has been brought to light by family fans.
Following Ozzy’s death on July 22 at the age of 76, the Black Sabbath frontman’s ultimate farewell was held today, July 30, in Birmingham, England.
The occasion featured a public parade seen by hundreds of people, and Sharon was accompanied by the couple’s kids, Aimee, Kelly, and Jack.
As they reached the Black Sabbath bench where Ozzy’s tributes have been placed, the family was seen to be obviously distraught. They all raised their hands in a peace sign to honor their departed loved one.

Fans used social media to discuss a few little things they had observed the Osbourne family had adopted for the day, such as a necklace Sharon wore around her neck, while they watched the event develop.
Fans quickly expressed their view that the big gold band displayed in the photos hanging from the chain was, in fact, Ozzy’s wedding ring.
“Sharon osbourne wearing ozzy’s wedding ring in a chain around her neck while mourning him [crying face], we love you shaz,” one person wrote after spotting the accessory.
Another followed up with more details on the ring, writing: “yeah, this is the ring they got for their wedding renewal in 2017, he used to wear both this and the original wedding band from when they got married in 1982.”
“Seeing Sharon wear Ozzy’s ring on a necklace… completely wrecked me,” commented another.
When her father was managing Ozzy’s band, Sharon and Ozzy first crossed paths in 1970. However, it wasn’t until Sharon started managing Ozzy as a solo artist in 1979 that they grew closer.
Following their courtship, the couple was married in 1982 and had three kids together. Their romance was ‘back on track’ within months after their brief 2016 breakup, according to Ozzy.
The singer told Hello! that the occasion was “actually [their] real wedding day” when the couple reaffirmed their vows in 2017.
“This is the one that I will remember,” he said. “Sharon and I have been through so much, and this honestly feels like a new beginning.”
Each member of the family carried a pink rose wrapped in black paper and fastened with a purple ribbon, and Sharon joined her children at the burial to lay flowers next to a poster of Ozzy.
In remembrance of her late spouse, Sharon laid her flower down after kissing it.
