Supermodel sisters Gigi and Bella Hadid have made a shock announcement after discovering that they have a long-lost sister.
For the last 23 years, the Hadid family has kept a heavily guarded secret – that their father, Mohamed Hadid, struck a ‘brief romance’ with a woman called Terri Hatfield Dull.
Their relationship resulted in Dull being pregnant and keeping the baby – Gigi and Bella’s now 23-year-old half-sister, Aydan Nix.
The real estate developer’s connection with Dull came shortly after his divorce was finalised with their mom, Yolanda, in 2000.
Twenty-eight-year-old Bella and her 30-year-old sister were completely unaware that they had another sibling, with the discovery coming shortly after Aydan decided to take a genetic test.

The circumstances of the decision to take the test was due to her father passing when she was just 19-years-old, with suspicions raised over whether her dad was her biological father. It was eventually concluded that he wasn’t and, shockingly, that she was related to the famous sisters.
The Hadid sisters issued the following statement to the Mail Online: “Over 20 years ago, our dad, while single, had a brief relationship that led to a pregnancy.
“Aydan was born and raised in Florida, growing up with the man she lovingly knew as her father until his sudden passing when she was 19.
“After his passing, she decided to take a genetic test out of curiosity, and that’s how she discovered a biological connection to us.
“We first connected in late 2023, and from that moment on, we’ve embraced Aydan with open arms.”
It continued: “She’s spent time with all of us, including our dad, and we’ve cherished this unexpected and beautiful addition to our family.

“As siblings, we’ve had many open and loving conversations— with Aydan included —about how to support and protect her.
“Aydan and her family value their privacy, and we fully respect that. We kindly ask others to do the same and honor her wish and right to her anonymity as she continues her life as a young woman in New York.”
Aydan has recently graduated from the Parsons School of Design, in Manhattan, and has ambitions to become a designer, stylist and influencer.
Meanwhile, the sisters also have a 24-year-old brother, Anwar Hadid.
Mohamed was married to Dutch model Yolanda Hadid from 1994 to 2000. Identifying as American-Palestinian, he also has two other daughters, Alana and Marielle Hadid, from his first marriage with Mary Butler. They separated in 1992.

Grimes has apologised to fans for causing a ‘great inconvenience’ due to experiencing ‘family issues’.
The Canadian singer-songwriter – real name Claire Elise Boucher – has been releasing music since 2006 and has built up a loyal following for her experimental pop style.
Outside of her music career, she dated Tesla CEO Elon Musk, and the pair went on to have three children – X Æ A-Xii, Exa Dark Sideræl and Techno Mechanicus – before ultimately parting ways in 2021.
Grimes, 37, has been outspoken about their relationship, as well as his antics since then, on her social media platforms and the difficulties of co-parenting their children.
And Grimes has since taken to Twitter to reveal that ‘family issues’ have led her to cancel an upcoming performance.

The singer took to the platform on May 26 to write: “Hello friends, I am so so sorry and regretful to say I have to cancel my pride show in order to deal with family issues.
“I want to say that I am aware the situation has been a great inconvenience to the fans for some time, and I am truly determined to make sure this is no longer the case very soon.
“I think the show is still going to be amazing and the lineup is great. I hope this is early enough and gives people enough time if they wish to change their plans. And I *will* make this up to you guys very soon.
“So much love always, G.”

AE A-XII – known as X – appeared on TV in the background in the Oval Office as Musk – head of US President Donald Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) – went to witness the signing of an executive order.
After being alerted to one of her children being on TV by a Twitter user who praised the child’s manners, Grimes wrote: “He should not be in public like this.
“I did not see this, thank u for alerting me. But I’m glad he was polite. Sigh.”
Grimes also took to Twitter in a series of now-deleted posts begging Musk to ‘respond’ about their ‘child’s medical crisis’.
In a post shared in February earlier this year, Grimes wrote: “Plz respond about our child’s medical crisis. I’m sorry to do this publicly but it is no longer acceptable to ignore this situation. This requires immediate attention.

The singer also reached out to Musk on Twitter (Twitter/@Grimezsz)
“If you don’t want to talk to me can you please designate or hire someone who can so that we can move forward on solving this. This is urgent, Elon.”
When a Twitter user suggested ‘going public’ probably wouldn’t help with the situation, Grimes allegedly responded, as per PEOPLE: “I’m not giving any details but he won’t respond to texts call or emails and has skipped every meeting and our child will suffer life long impairment if he doesn’t respond asap.
“So I need him to f**king respond and if I have to apply public pressure then I guess that’s where we’re at.”

Bella Ramsey has opened up about their decision to come out as non-binary, conceding that they have some regrets in doing so.
At 19 years old, the Brit announced that they are genderfluid during the promotion for the The Last of Us back in January 2023, and at the time discovered just how toxic the internet can be.
Now, two years on the 21-year-old has touched on the topic which they never wanted to become headline news, just as season two of The Last of Us is finally upon us – which airs on Sundays at 9pm ET on HBO.
During an interview with The Guardian, Ramsey was asked to sum up how they feel about coming out as non-binary in the manner that they did.
“Part of me looks back and I wish that I didn’t, because I didn’t want it to become a headline and a big thing,” they explain.
“And obviously it was going to, and I didn’t really understand that at the time. And I wasn’t really prepared for that. But on the other hand, people have said to me that it’s been very helpful for them seeing some representation.
“So it’s been a mixed bag, but overall, I think it was a good thing, just for me living more freely, without feeling like I’m keeping a secret.”
Ramsey’s views on that matter has since changed, as they shared how they are over their gender and sexual orientation being their most talked-about subject, and instead would rather speak of other topics.
They continued: “But now I’m like, ‘I’ll talk about it, but I don’t want it to be the focus any more.’ I guess I’m just quite chill with it. And I want everyone else to be as chill with it basically.”

It comes as Ramsey, who hails from Nottingham in England, opted to deactivate their Instagram account last week – citing both Kit Harrington, who they worked with on Game of Thrones, and Jesse Eisenberg, who they worked with on Resistance, as to why they did.
“Those are the two actors who I just thought were the coolest people to ever walk the earth, and neither of them had social media,” Ramsey told the publication.
“I remember them just being so normal and funny and interesting. They were famous because they were great at something, not because they were celebrities. They never pushed themselves out there and made themselves more famous.”
They also conceded that they only set up their Instagram account initially due to a number of fake accounts pretending to be them.

Bella Ramsey has provided her take on the ‘interesting conversation’ around gendered awards after admitting to having some regrets about coming out as non-binary publicly.
Ramsey announced they were non-binary during the promotion for The Last of Us back in January 2023 when they were just 19 years old.
Ahead of the release of The Last of Us season two, Ramsey was asked to sum up how they feel about coming out as gender-fluid in the manner that they did.
“Part of me looks back and I wish that I didn’t, because I didn’t want it to become a headline and a big thing,” they explained.

In recent years, awards shows such as the Grammys, the Film Independent Spirit Awards, and the Gotham Awards have opted to introduce gender neutral categories in an effort to be inclusive to all identities.
And while the move marks major strides when it comes to inclusivity, Ramsey has urged event organisers to keep gendered awards for best actor and best actress as ‘it’s important that we have a female and male category’.
Speaking on The Louis Theroux Podcast, Ramsey explained it’s important because it’s vital ‘recognition for women in the industry is preserved’.
“The gendered categories conversation is really interesting. I don’t have the answer, and I wish that there was an easy way around it, but I think that it is really important that we have a female category and a male category,” Ramsey continued.
“But then, where do non-binary or gender non-conforming people fit into that? I don’t know.”

Both the BAFTAs and the Emmys have nominated Ramsey for best actress in recent years – a move that has been criticised by some.
“I’ve always called myself an actor, but I don’t think that those words have to be taken away,” Ramsey added.
“If people call me an actress, I have a ‘that’s not quite right’ instinct, but I don’t take it too seriously. It doesn’t feel like an attack on my identity. It’s just a funny thing that doesn’t really fit.”

A judge has dismissed one of the civil suits Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was facing.
The disgraced rapper is facing both criminal and civil lawsuits, and he’s currently behind held without bail at Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Criminal case wise, Diddy was charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution last year.
Elsewhere, dozens of people have come forward with civil suits accusing the rapper sexual assault – some of which date back to the 1990s.
Diddy has denied all the allegations against him.
While it’s been blow after blow for the music star in the last few months, Diddy’s now had a small victory after a judge ordered for one of the civil suits he was facing to be dismissed.
Why has Diddy’s civil suit been dismissed?
Yesterday (March 31), US District Court Judge Lewis J. Liman issued an order closing the case in question.
The suit was filed anonymously by someone who only identified herself as ‘Jane Doe’.
The suit was filed in October 2014 by Doe, which alleged that she’d been raped by Diddy in 1995 in New York for a Biggie Smalls music video.
But Liman ordered on March 6 that the woman re-file the complaint and use her real name because she could not proceed anonymously.

The unnamed woman failed to do this, thus the case has been closed.
“As of today, March 31, 2025, (Doe) has not filed a complaint in her own name, nor has she sought an extension of time to do so,” Liman wrote in his ruling.
What has Jane Doe’s legal team said?
Tony Buzbee, the lawyer who was presenting the woman in question, says he doesn’t blame her for not wanting to give her name.
In a statement to USA Today, Buzbee said: “In this particular case, Jane Doe opted not to proceed. There is a lot of fear amongst these plaintiffs. I thus can’t blame her.”

He continued: “These are tough cases and they are many times re-traumatizing for those who pursue them. Each case stands on its own merit.
“This woman chose not to proceed and subject herself to the media circus and the perceived danger she felt. We have to respect that.”
As of October 2024, Buzbee was representing as many as 120 Diddy accusers.
At the time, the lawyer promised to ‘expose the enablers who enabled this conduct behind closed doors’.
